ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT, Institute Office- The Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, an international community of over 2,700 Roman Catholic women, located in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a full time Assistant to the President. The assistant provides administrative support to the President; serves as recording secretary for Institute Leadership Team meetings; maintains all civil and canonical records for corporate entities governed by the Institute, including resolutions, minutes, correspondence, and report filings; manages the logistical planning and preparation for the bi-annual meetings of elected Community leaders from across the Institute. Qualifications include BA/BS in related field; five years executive level administrative experience; strong computer, organizational, and communications skills; familiarity with Catholic Church structures, teachings, and processes.
